Shawn is an active trader in the forex market and has been part of the Market Traders Institute, Inc. (MTI) family for nearly seven years. He was one of the original seven employees and received his own forex education at MTI.

Passion for the Forex
Shawn believes that the forex market is the easiest market to short in and that it is the only market where leverage can’t hurt you. Strategy in the forex is important, but understanding your role is even more important. He feels that the biggest pitfall of many traders is their lack of this understanding along with their lack of discipline. Having a trading plan and following the rules of that plan are imperative to success. Confidence is the ability to plan a trade and to execute that plan. With preparation comes confidence.
